Cobbleday Notes, tasks and your calendar, in one calm place.
Plan your day on your real Google Calendar, keep notes right next to the work, and switch on a gentle ADHD mode when getting started is the hard part.
Notes
Markdown with live preview, folders, [[links]], backlinks and templates.
Tasks
Inbox, Today, projects with boards, sprints, subtasks and quick add.
Calendar
Two-way Google Calendar sync, with your tasks placed as work blocks.
1Notes · tasks · calendar
Everything about your day, in one place.
Write a note, type /task on a line, and it's a real task with a date and a project. Link notes to each other, keep projects on boards, and see it all beside your calendar. No more copying between three apps.
2Work blocks · Google Calendar
Drag a task onto your calendar. It's on Google moments later.
Give a task as many sittings as it needs: each block lands on your Google Calendar almost at once, and changes made in Google come straight back. Time spent adds up from the blocks you actually worked.
3Routines
Routines that bend when life does.
A morning run, a weekly review, sprint planning: set each up once, like a recurring event. Missed one? It waits kindly in Overdue until you do it, move it to today, or skip it. A routine can keep a running log note, newest on top.
4ADHD mode
A kinder way to get going.
Turn it on for XP, ranks from Pebble to Summit, coins for rewards you choose yourself, three small quests a day and a weekly boss. Focus tools and a "What next?" helper pick a task that fits your energy. No penalties, and a missed week is forgiven.
5Work log export
Your timesheet, already written.
Export a project's work log for a week, a sprint or a month: daily totals, every time entry and your notes, as one Markdown file. Paste it into a timesheet, a client update or an AI chat. Overlapping tasks never count a minute twice.
6Desktop · phone · web
Works offline, on every screen.
The desktop apps for macOS and Ubuntu keep a full copy of your data, so a train with no signal is just a quiet place to work. On your phone, install it from the browser. Edits made offline merge when you're back, instead of overwriting each other.
Privacy & your data
Your data stays yours.
Cobbleday is made and run by one person, and it's built so your notes and plans stay yours. Here's the short version; the privacy policy has the details.
Not sold, not shown, not trained on
Your data isn't sold, shared with third parties, used for ads or used to train AI models. The admin page shows counts, never content.
Only what it needs from Google
Drive access covers only the files Cobbleday creates. Calendar events change only when you ask, like placing a block.
Take everything with you
One click exports a ZIP: notes as Markdown in their folders, your attachments, and tasks as JSON and a spreadsheet.
Leave whenever you like
Delete your account in Settings. Your data is erased for good after 30 days, backups included.
Your own database
Each account's data lives in its own database on the server, and each device keeps its own copy, apart from anyone else's.
No trackers
No third-party analytics or tracking in the app, and none on this site either. Not even cookies here.
Pricing

Questions
Is Cobbleday free?
Yes, while it's in beta, and there are no ads. There's no paid plan yet.
How do I get in?
The beta is invite-only: you sign in with a Google account whose email address is on the beta list. Write to hello@cobbleday.com to ask for an invite.
Do I need a Google account?
For now, yes. You sign in with Google, your calendar syncs with Google Calendar, and attachments and backups go to a folder in your Google Drive.
Do I need to have ADHD to use it?
Not at all. ADHD mode is off until you turn it on. Without it, Cobbleday is a calm notes, tasks and calendar app; with it, you get XP, quests, rewards and focus tools on top.
Will it make a mess of my Google Calendar?
No. Cobbleday shows all your calendars, and it creates, changes or deletes events only when you ask it to, for example by placing a work block or setting up a timed routine. You choose which calendar they go in.
Does it work offline?
Yes. The desktop apps for macOS and Ubuntu keep a full local copy and work without a connection, then sync when you're back online. The web app keeps a copy on your device too. Note text edited in two places merges rather than one copy winning.
Can I use it on my phone?
Yes: open the app in your phone's browser and add it to your home screen. It has a layout made for small screens.
Can I get my data out?
Any time, from Settings → Account → Export your data. You get a ZIP with your notes as Markdown files and everything else as JSON. Deleting your account is in the same place.
Who makes Cobbleday?
Dhruv Baliyan, one person, who built it for his own busy, distractible days. It used to be called cairn.
